Terms of Service
Last updated October 2026
These terms apply when you use the [BrandName] website, create an account or enrol a student in our classes. By enrolling, you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
[BrandName] provides live online small-group tutoring for students in Years 7–12. References to "we", "us" and "our" mean [BrandName]. References to "you" mean the parent or guardian who creates the account and enrols a student.
2. Accounts
- A parent or guardian aged 18 or over must create the account and enrol students. Student logins are created by the parent.
- You are responsible for keeping login details secure and for activity under your account.
- You must give accurate information and keep it up to date.
3. Classes
- Classes are delivered live online in groups of up to 8 students. Each session is 2 hours: 90 minutes of teaching and 30 minutes of doubt time.
- Classes run with a minimum of 5 students. If a class does not reach the minimum, we will offer another class or a refund for unused sessions.
- We may occasionally change a class time or tutor. We will give as much notice as possible.
- We aim to align classes with the relevant curriculum, but we do not guarantee any particular result, score or ATAR.
4. Fees and payment
- Fees are shown on our pricing page in Australian dollars and are charged per session, billed monthly or as a 3-month prebook.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
- If a payment fails, we may pause access to classes until it is resolved.
- Refunds and cancellations are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Student conduct
- Students must be respectful to tutors and other students, and must not share class links, recordings or materials outside the class.
- We may remove a student from a session, or end an enrolment, for serious or repeated misconduct. Any refund in that case is at our discretion and in line with Australian Consumer Law.
6. Recordings and materials
- Sessions are recorded with consent, for child safety, quality and so enrolled students can revisit lessons. Recordings are available only to students enrolled in that class and are handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
- Class materials are provided for the enrolled student's personal study only and remain the property of [BrandName] or its licensors.
7. Child safety
All tutors hold a valid Working with Children Check. Our Child Safety Policy explains how we keep students safe online.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to re-supplying the affected sessions or refunding the fees paid for them.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time and will notify account holders of material changes. Questions? Email hello@example.com.
