How we teach

Learn it, practise it, ask about it — every week.

Every 2-hour session follows a proven structure: focused teaching, lots of practice, and dedicated time for each student's own questions.

Inside a 2-hour session

0–10 min

Warm-up & homework check

A few quick questions to activate last week's learning, and a review of common homework mistakes.

10–75 min

Teach & practise

The week's topic taught step by step with worked examples. Students attempt questions throughout so the tutor can spot and fix misunderstandings on the spot.

75–90 min

Exam-style check

A short set of exam-style questions to confirm understanding and build exam technique.

90–120 min

Doubt time

Students bring their own questions — from class, homework or school. Often in small breakout rooms for one-to-one attention.

What makes our classes work

👥

Small groups, real attention

A maximum of 8 students means the tutor knows every student, and every student gets to ask questions.

✍️

Active practice, not passive watching

Students spend much of each session solving problems, not just listening. That's how skills stick.

🎯

Exam technique built in

We teach how marks are awarded, how to manage time and how to avoid common traps — not just the content.

⏩

A step ahead of school

Classes follow the current study designs and curriculum and aim to stay slightly ahead, so school lessons become reinforcement.

🔁

A weekly feedback loop

Homework every week, reviewed by the tutor, with completion and tutor notes visible to parents.
